Job Summary:

As a Global Account Manager at ON Semiconductor this role will be a key leader on our sales team for managing current business from a sales perspective as well as developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will combine their talents for getting results and finding commercial opportunities with your grounding in the technical aspects of these industries. As a motivated self-starter, the right candidate will know the value of networking and enjoy working with North American and global counterparts to identify creative avenues to drive business growth. You can expect to travel up to 30% of the time.

Performance Objectives:

Successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier at key assigned customers. Present business plans to management and Business Units for alignment and support.
  • Provide timely and accurate demand forecasts and close loop communication to ensure smooth support and responsiveness to customers.
  • Manage and coordinate global support for all multi-national customers through ON’s sales and engineering network. Understand customers’ global supply-chain and 3rd party partner network.
  • Develop and establish strong cooperative relationships with all levels of the customers’ organization and departments. Drive timely, productive and effective resolution of customer issues including but not limited to PCN notification, failure analysis and product shortages.
  • Lead and drive new business demand creation with Field Application Engineers and Business Units to secure successful design win penetrations at customers R&D and design centers.
  • Work closely and support Business Units on competitive analysis, market intelligence and pricing negotiations.
Qualifications

    • BSEE required (MSEE a plus)
    • Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface directly with different levels of the customers’ organization.
    • Strong presentation skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
    • 6+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of winning designs and supporting multi-national customers.
    • Willingness to travel
    • Language: English (Spanish a plus)
