Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of institutional clients in a specified territory, establish contact with customers via telephone and/or email to influence their conversion from Wiley- print customers to subscribers of electronic products.
The Senior Account Manager will also be responsible for selling new online products to current/new customers- identify decision makers; prepare customer profile and proposals; deliver sales presentation; negotiate license details and close the sale.
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for representing all relevant products to customers, propose pricing and licensing terms as appropriate and negotiate the final sale and renewals as appropriate. Maintain relations with existing customers and identify and cultivate new prospects. Collaborate with library marketing, sales support and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
Leads key consortia negotiations
Allocate sales resources to accounts and drive sales activity
Develop territory sales plan. Effectively execute account and territory plans to deliver revenue objectives.
Have regular contact, including face to face meetings, with all key clients and prospective clients in the region
Develop sales proposals, both new and renewal, working with the RSD, Sales Support and others as needed.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and maintain strong and positive customer relations. Develop long term prospects for sales with all existing and potential new accounts.
Proven track record in digital or information sales
Publishing, information, education industry experience is desirable
Willingness to travel, approximately 30%
