Residential Sales Regional Manager Engineered Floors

Responsible for directing, managing and ensuring the effectiveness of selling strategies, efforts and activities of district managers and sales representatives within a geographic region and defined territories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish sales and margin budgets for regional district managers and sales representatives based on corporate budgets assigned to the region.
Management and direction the activities and responsibilities of district managers, regional specialists, and sales representatives.
Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and customers in the region.
Drive key company initiatives with the account base through the sales force in the region including the implementation of marketing strategies.
Responsible for implementing and growing national account business with buying groups and other corporate accounts.
Responsible for creating and implementing product pricing strategies for residential division.
Manage pricing discipline and rebates within the regional sales structure.
Travel on a consistent basis with all district managers and/or sales representatives.
Insure implementation of all company sales initiatives.
Monitor performance of the regional sales team.
Ensure proper and effective utilization of the performance management system and conducting all required and necessary performance reviews.
Follow company guidelines and policy with the application of performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
Manage all compensation-related aspects including travel and entertainment expenses, cost of sales, commission levels, and other related areas.
Responsible for managing regional P and L budgets.
Performance Expectations (if applicable):
Specific sales goals, targets and forecasts including product specific objectives will be established and communicated on a regular and timely basis.
Previous experience managing a sales group or organization in the residential flooring industry is required.
Prior experience in a field sales position in flooring or a related industry strongly preferred.
Frequent, overnight travel.
