An exciting opportunity exists for a Pool Duty Manager who has a strong commitment to customer service, industry best practice and continuous improvements.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supporting the Aquatic Operations Manager & Assistant Aquatic Operations Manager in the efficient & effective running of Council’s facilities.
Assisting and contributing individually and as part of a team of Duty Managers to efficiently and effectively operate Council’s swimming pools.
Supervising, liaising with, coordinating and controlling the activities of hirers and the public within the pool enclosure.
Maintaining water quality in line with NSW Department of Health and other industry standards.
Ensuring a high level of communication, public relations and customer service to all pool users, including effectively resolving customer complaints and suggestions.
Utilising effective risk management techniques to ensure the safety of staff, customers, contractors & suppliers.
Monitoring and maintaining on a day to day and periodic basis all filtration, reticulation and chemical dosing equipment to ensure its ongoing operation.
Ensuring consistent high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, maintenance and security within the pool surrounds.
Liaising and cooperating with kiosk, swim coaching and other lessees and contractors to ensure the harmonious operation of the centres.
Qualifications & Experience required for this role include:
Statement of Attainment in Pool Operations
Senior First Aid Certificate
Current Pool Lifeguards Certificate
Previous Lifeguard Experience
