A. PLAN TO GROW
To compile an annual Sales/Tactical Growth Plan for the region, implementing these activities and reporting as needed.
To manage annual (& other) prices rises, maintain a tracker to ensure completion & ensure price rises managed within SAP & signed off per the delegation of authority.
To identify new customers or new applications with existing customers & maintain these accurately with the Sales Funnel.
To negotiate relevant contracts, working with contract managers, legal & sales management to ensure agreements are compliant.
To acknowledge and process customer complaints and requests promptly, working closely with relevant members of the cross-functional team.
B. FORECAST & TRACKING
Create an annual forecast (sales & orders) and ensure this is monitored and tracked & forecast is met.
Ensure all relevant opportunities are tracked within the sales funnel & changes are updated promptly.
C. TO IDENTIFY, INFLUENCE, AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY DECISION-MAKERS
To use these relationships in improving our position within the defined customer by both raising awareness & creating additional sales, along with generating the required corporate image across the target market.
To increase our knowledge of competitor position and activities through close contact with the relevant markets & the key opinion-leaders within.
To complete Customer Surveillance Database for any significant customer feedback on product performance or design.
D. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
To file expenses (with receipts) in accordance with the current expenses policy.
To respond quickly & efficiently to customers’ enquires.
To report promptly & accurately with any Product Occurrences that may be reported.
To attend relevant teleconferences and meetings.
To maintain and continually develop product, market & technical knowledge of existing and new OEM filtration applications.
To maintain a professional standard of personal grooming and dress.
To complete & maintain the electronic calendar on a rolling quarterly basis.
To maintain the CRM System with all up to date information, including the recording of all sales visits educational events.
To arrange & attend educational events (in-servicing, seminars, workshops) and report on the same promptly.
To maintain a stock of business cards & keep these updated with the relevant professional details.
To maintain an adequate stock of up-to-date promotional literature & samples, due recognition being taken of current delivery times from Head Office.
To communicate regularly all pertinent information to the Sales Manager.
To ensure that product knowledge is up-to-date and report accurately and promptly on any competitor activity.
To maintain all company property in a clean and usable condition.
To report promptly any information pertaining to other sales territories.
Skills and Knowledge:
Good written and oral communications.
Excellent applications and product knowledge.
Ability to analyze and present commercial, technical and medical information concisely.
Graduate in STEM related field or business.
Technical support or sales experience in a relevant technical market.
Willing to travel as required.
Self-motivated and the ability to use initiative.
