Be a global driver in the sales of our Cheddar & Mozzarella portfolio.

Due to our strategic initiatives, we are now seeking a Global Manager of Sales for our Cheddar and Mozzarella category. The Sales Manager role is a position within the Tetra Pak Processing Equipment team with responsibility for coordinating sales of our cheddar and mozzarella globally for both direct and Cluster sales.

In this position, you will support the Company’s Cluster organizations to grow the Company’s Cheese Sales with high levels of collaboration while fully satisfying our internal and external customers’ needs and strengthening customer relationships. Key responsibilities center around opportunity management and prioritization, corporate governance, confirming sales strategy and ensuring delivery of timely, accurate and high quality proposals. This position is ideally located in Winsted, MN and relocation is available. Other locations like Europe will be considered.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage all sales opportunities utilizing the full suite of tools including opportunity management software; Salesforce, Tecbase or alike
  • Ensure timely delivery of quotations, that are accurate and to the required level of quality
  • Ensure sales strategy is clear; strengths and weaknesses of our solutions are known and addressed
  • Coordinate and lead the team in all activities including prioritization of opportunities and resources
  • Lead the sales team involved with promoting and selling our cheddar and mozzarella portfolio through direct sales channels and cluster sales opportunities
  • Secure targeted volumes of new sales across cheddar and mozzarella portfolio utilising sound processes for sales and engineering principals and procedures
  • Support development of sales and marketing plans and annual sales for cheddar and mozzarella categories across clusters and direct sales
  • Build and manage key customer relationships both internal and external
  • Build and manage relationships with key contacts within Tetra Pak Cluster organizations
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure where applicable
  • Be fully involved in all aspects of the quotation and proposal preparation process for new system sales enquiries.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably on a global basis
  • Significant experience in a B2B sales, account management, and/or business development role
  • Experience and knowledge of capital equipment in food & beverage, CPG processing or related industries is preferred
  • Able to deal naturally with stakeholders and work cross-functionally in a seamless fashion
  • You should:
    • Be able to work across boundaries
    • Have a strong customer focus
    • Be able to develop rapport quickly and have strong presentation skills
    • Have a natural ability to motivate others
    • Be able to show strategic agility
    • Be driven to perform and deliver results
    • Able to between 30-50% of the time.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
