Position Overview:

This key role will have significant opportunities for impact to the sales pipeline and revenue growth in support of the field sales and the new AME Inside Sales Group. This individual is responsible for the qualification, development and advancement of both inbound and outbound marketing leads into sales-ready leads. Responsible to build and manage lead development pipeline for assigned regions. Individual will need critical analysis skills to determine prospects needs and recommend potential cross-sell/up-sell options in preparation for sales hand-off and conversion.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for the processing, development and advancement of inbound and outbound marketing leads into sales ready leads.
2. Supports Inside Sales Group by conducting targeted outbound prospecting activities to drive new customer identification, acquisition and conversion through distribution channel.
4. Spearheads the creation and execution of nurturing campaigns together with the IBM Watson administrator to re-engage recycled leads from field sales.
5. Develop strong relationships with field sales and Inside Sales Reps. Work collaboratively to transition qualified opportunities into pipeline and revenue.
6. Work with IBM Watson administrator to identify and correct SAP Customer Master contact records to improve data integrity between both systems.
7. Provide support and resolution to field sales for issues related to lead routing and sales engineer assignment. Gain agreement with District Sales Manager to permanently re-assign any Customer Master Record in SAP and document the change in the CRM Lead Record. Submit formal requests to the Sales Commission Analyst.
8. Compile Lead Analysis Reports through Business Warehouse to analyze lead rejection codes in compliance with the agreed Service Level Agreement between Sales and Marketing Management.

Position Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience in lead development, inside sales, or marketing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in demand creation activities (email marketing, event marketing, direct mail)
  • Experience working with advanced Excel functions including pivot tables, vlookup, and macros.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platform (Eloqua, Oracle, Marketo, etc)
  • Experience working with telemarketing databases or marketing automation software

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret data from MAP to personalize outbound communication
  • Solid understanding of SAP R/3, CRM
  • Self starter who takes initiative to achieve goals
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude as important as experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize own workload and to meet established metrics for lead processing
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Independent problem solving skills that demonstrate the ability to identify problems, determine causes, evaluate solutions and make recommendations
  • Strong ability to communicate both written and verbal in a clear and concise manner
