We are seeking a business minded, honest person who is excited to join The Source, one of Nevada’s first state approved, luxury MMJ dispensaries. The Retail General Manager is responsible for recruiting, developing, and training a staff dedicated to driving the business; for ensuring the smooth operation of the store; for creating positive relationships with patients; and for providing a proactive business plan while maintaining peak productivity in all areas.

To be a Retail General Manager, you’ll need to be a motivator and mentor with experience leading 20+ employees, as you will be inspiring a team of great people committed to creating a welcoming environment and making The Source the #1 dispensary in Las Vegas/Henderson. The ideal candidate has a college degree and at least five years of experience managing a multi-unit business that includes at least two years of recruiting, hiring, and talent acquisition experience. Candidates must have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and motivational skills with high customer service expectations, and strong conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of Nevada’s medical marijuana program is a plus.


  • Directs daily operations
  • Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints
  • Ensures maximum profitability and sales growth in all store functions by managing expense budgets, including deposits, accounts receivable, and profit and loss
  • Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of The Source
  • Understands production and implements procedures to maximize efficiencies
  • Maintains a positive attitude that promotes team work
  • Develops and leads weekly manager meetings and monthly team meetings
  • Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed
  • Completes scheduling for the retail staff on a weekly basis, including team member time-off
  • Communicates openly to create a fair environment
  • Identifies and addresses staff training and needs; recruits, hires, and fires employees; and develops staff to achieve their full potential
  • Seeks out new ways to increase business
  • Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance
  • Coordinates with marketing team to understand the success of promotions, coupons, etc., and to recommend future promotions and sales
  • Performs inventory audits and assessments of productivity and of new merchandise
  • Adheres to all Nevada Department of Health and Human Services laws and executes and enforces compliance efforts
  • Develops the store management team to deliver legendary customer service
  • Manages through unusual events to keep dispensary operating above standard
  • Reviews dispensary environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the team and take action and achieve operational goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • College degree preferred or equivalent job experience
  • At least five years of experience managing a multi-unit retail, restaurant, or hotel business of 20+ individuals
  • At least two years of experience in recruiting, hiring, and talent acquisition
  • Experience frequently interacting with customers, fulfilling customer requests and addressing customer issues, questions, or suggestions
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Knowledge of Nevada’s medical marijuana program is a plus
  • Must be able to communicate through various formats including phone and email
  • Must have own vehicle, full insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check and credit check
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the US
  • Must be able to carry, bend, stand, file documents, lift, and push/pull as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
