Digital Experience Designer – SSM Health – St. Louis, MO

Role Purpose:
The System Digital Experience Designer, under the direction of the System Manager, Digital Communications, provides web-based support for SSM Health marketing and communications initiatives. This individual will be a front-end developer and web designer for ssmhealth.com and any other SSM Health websites. The role includes development of new front-end functionality, best-in-class user experience web design and graphic design support for SSM Health websites. These efforts will drive improved patient experience and online engagement. Additionally, this position will support enhancements to existing and development of new modules on our Kentico CMS platform, including event search, locations search, ecommerce tools and provider search.

Responsibilities:
Coordinates third-party, CRM and API development tasks with other Digital Team members and IHT to ensure scope completion, quality control, security standards and on-time completion.

Works closely with other Digital Team members and Marketing and Communication leads to accomplish tasks on a project basis and meet department goals.

Directly interacts with stakeholders in order to clarify and develop wireframes, website designs, CRM integrations, API integrations and Kentico module integrations.

Interacts with Digital Team leads and management to determine needs and resources required to fulfill needs.

Creates and implements front-end development and user-centered design solutions, including development and support for new and existing modules such as event search, locations search, ecommerce tools and provider search.

Supports the patient experience through the implementation of fluid design and customer-focused online tools.

Monitors and enforces compliance with SSM Health brand guidelines, editorial standards, 508c3, CAN-SPAM, regulatory and web standards.

Ensures that SSM Health’s web presence meets user experience best practices such as search, responsive design, geo-location and tracking.

Implements evaluation tools to track website effectiveness and boost traffic, engagement and conversion metrics for the website, responding to user and stakeholder indicators as necessary.

Imparts the mission, philosophy, values and vision of SSM Health and facilitates the integration of values in CQI activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required

Three to five years of web development, ecommerce web design, or field digital technologies experience required

User-centered design certification preferred
